Ingredients
2 cups masoor daal (soaked for about 2-3 hours)
2 medium tomatoes
2 green chili peppers
1 tbs garlic or ginger garlic paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbs salt
1 tsp paprika powder (optional)
Garam masala for Garnish (optional)
water
for the topping of the Daal you will need
2-3 tbs butter
1 tbs cumin seeds
1 small onion sliced
ginger sliced
Heavy whipping cream 2-3 tbs.
